The Chamber is pleased to celebrate the official opening of the Mill Town Farmers Market for the 2026 season. 

Thursday, May 14th 

4:00 – 7:00 p.m.

Sorrells Street Park in Canton

This beloved community market is a nonprofit, seasonal gathering place that highlights the best of Haywood County’s local agriculture, artisans, and small businesses. Operating weekly on Thursdays from May through October, the market brings together farmers, makers, musicians, families, and neighbors in a vibrant, welcoming setting.

What to Expect at the Market:

  • Fresh, locally grown produce
  • Farm‑fresh dairy, baked goods, jams, and cut flowers
  • Handcrafted artisan items
  • Live music from local performers
  • Food trucks and rotating weekly activities
  • FREE Parking

The Mill Town Farmers Market is dedicated to supporting sustainable agriculture, strengthening small businesses, and fostering a thriving community hub. The market is made possible through the support of local partners, including the Cruso Endowment and the Town of Canton.

We invite the community to come out, enjoy the festivities, meet local vendors, and help us officially kick off another exciting season. The ribbon cutting will take place during the opening event, and all are welcome to attend.
