About our Hosts

Ralph and Maryanna Koehring recently returned to the U.S. after decades abroad—Ralph serving with the U.S. Government and Maryanna teaching English as a second language. Now settled in Waynesville with their three nearly grown children, they’ve reopened Prospect Hill on Main as a welcoming historic inn. Drawing on their own years of international travel, they bring a deep appreciation for comfort, hospitality, and connection, guiding guests toward the best of Waynesville—especially the businesses just steps away on Main Street.

About the Inn

Prospect Hill on Main, listed on the National Historic Registry, has reopened as a boutique inn offering two‑night minimum stays. Guests can enjoy uniquely appointed rooms and inviting common spaces, including a large parlor, a cozy library with a fireplace, a tea‑ready dining room, a TV room, a spacious front porch, and a patio with a fire pit. Accommodations range from queen rooms with private baths to king suites with sitting areas or spa‑style bathrooms. Each morning begins with a continental breakfast before guests head out to explore shops and restaurants just a short stroll from the inn.

Join us for connection, inspiration, and collaboration. We’ll enjoy light finger foods as we network with fellow professionals and learn more about other local businesses within The Chamber network.

About The Exchange: A Chamber Member Networking Series

The Exchange is a members‑only networking series designed to spotlight local businesses and strengthen connections within our Chamber community. Each month, one Chamber member hosts a casual gathering where fellow merchants and business owners come together to share ideas, build relationships, and celebrate what makes our local economy thrive.

Because The Exchange is a benefit reserved for those who invest annually in Chamber programming and events, non‑members may attend as guests for a modest fee. This helps us honor the value of our member benefits while still welcoming prospective members who want to experience our community firsthand. Registration is required for all attendees.

Hosting an Exchange event is a fantastic way to showcase your space, highlight your services, and connect with fellow Chamber members. Events are typically held on the third Thursday of each month, either in the morning or late afternoon—whichever suits your schedule. Simply provide light refreshments, and the Chamber handles invitations and promotion.
