Main St. Waynesville\, NC. 2026 marks REACH of Haywood County's 40th anniversary of serving our community! This is a new permanent location and a major milestone in REACH's 40-year history. REACH is not new to Haywood County\; they have been serving this community since 1986. This Advocacy Center represents a new chapter. For the first time\, REACH owns the building from which our community-based advocacy services operate. We see this not simply as a new office\, but as the foundation for REACH's next 40 years and the beginning of our continued expansion of services for survivors\, families and the broader community.REACH purchased the building that would become the REACH Advocacy Center in April 2026\, during Sexual Assault Awareness Month\, and after months of renovation\, we are officially opening its doors to the community during October\, Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Throughout October\, REACH will host opportunities for community members\, supporters and partners to tour the Advocacy Center\, learn more about our work and see firsthand what their support has made possible.For more information and how you can support and help this great organization\, call REACH at 828-456-7898.
