Leadership Haywood is an immersive 8‑month program designed to cultivate leadership skills while deepening participants’ knowledge of Haywood County. Running from September through April, the program convenes on the second Wednesday of each month at 8:30 a.m., with sessions held at various locations across the county to showcase its diverse resources and opportunities. 

Participants invest $800–$900 to engage in a series of dynamic sessions featuring guest speakers, interactive discussions, and monthly topics tailored to leadership development and community awareness. By the program’s conclusion, attendees gain not only practical leadership tools but also a richer understanding of Haywood County’s unique character and challenges.
