The 12th annual Kiwanis Adult Spelling Bee occurs at 7 pm on May 29, and we are looking for business sponsors. This is our largest fundraising event of the year. For $150, a business can provide (hopefully!) or sponsor a team provided by Kiwanis of three spellers who work together to correctly spell words through three rounds of fun action. $50 of the sponsorship fee allows each team to buy back misspelled words to stay in the competition. Participants receive a light meal, and winners receive prizes including a $25 gift card for each teammate. Year-long Silver and Gold Partnerships are also available. Sponsors will be acknowledged at the Bee and in thank you ads in The Mountaineer and Smoky Mountain News.
