Bill Reck, my father retired and I took over WPTL Radio October 21, 2020. My grandfather, Myron Reck started a radio station in Sanford, Flordia called WTRR in April of 1947. WTRR was sold August of 1977.
WPTL is a Radio that began August 8th 1963, started by Vernon Pressley of Canton - with Country Gospel Format.
My father, Bill Reck purchased WPTL on December 1977. We were known as the "Good Neighbor" Radio Station. On February 2018, we received a translator for the FM Stattion. WPTL became 101.7 FM and 920 AM and became "Your Country".
