Linda G. Erickson is the founder of Star Speakers Academy, a speaking and presentation company whose mission is to empower you to deliver unforgettable messages. Her 25-year career as a sales and marketing executive required her to deliver high-profile public speaking presentations, ranging from 25 – 3,000 attendees. Her remarkable interpersonal skills and ability to connect with people from the stage to the audience can be attributed to her highly effective communication skills, both orally and written. Her expertise extends into television where she spearheaded the successful launch and telecast of Empowering Women, which received the Best Talk Show Award from the Sacramento Cable in 1992. This program focused on women empowerment, helping women from all walks of life to “design a life they would love to live”. Apart from the acclaimed talk show, Linda has been an active participant in Toastmasters International, she earned the TM credential as Competent Communicator and has served as VP, Membership for the Event Speak Toastmasters Club. She is currently on the speaker selection and coaching committee for TedX Lake Junaluska. She holds a B.A. degree in Communication, Arizona State University, and currently resides in Lake Junaluska, North Carolina.
